In autumn 2019, the Algarve was once again awarded the prestigious award GOLF DESTINATION OF THE YEAR WORLDWIDE. Voted on by representatives from around the world, the award was presented during the annual IAGTO conference in Marrakesh, Morocco. In October 2021, Portugal was once again awarded “Europe’s best Golf Destination” at the World Golf Awards.
Since Sir Henry Cotton designed Penina in 1966, the number of golf courses along the Algarve coast has grown to 42 courses – a very diverse range of courses for all levels and tastes.
PT Golf offers short- and long-stay golf trips to selected resorts along the entire Algarve coast in Portugal, divided into the Western, Central and Eastern Algarve areas. Since the start in 2009, we have received the epithet Algarve specialist, which we constantly work hard to live up to, surpass and develop further. In Estoril outside Lisbon we also have a very nice selection as well as on the south side of the Rio Tejo river.
For a number of years we have also been present in southern Spain. In southern Spain, we focus on the Costa de la Luz, Spain’s Atlantic coast, the southernmost part of the Costa del Sol, from Estepona down to Gibraltar and also nowadays on the sunny area of southeastern Spain with visits to the Almería & Murcía area.

Longstay
Take a proper long vacation from darkness and sleet. Stay away for a month or more and make yourself at home in one of our modern self-catering apartments and play a little, a fair bit, a lot or lots of golf.
Shortstay
The alternative for those of you who want to get away during the dark half of the year, but maybe (yet) can’t/don’t want to be away for a whole month. Our two-week packages are complete with accommodation, 10 rounds of golf and rental car.
