This area – from Faro in the east to Albufeira in the west – has its epicenter in Vilamoura. It is the most modern and fashionable part of the Algarve and differs significantly from its eastern and western neighboring areas in this sense. Here, the nightlife is more intense, the villas are more luxurious and expensive, the boats are larger, and tourism is more noticeable.
In terms of golf, the area is “pure dynamite” with famous championship courses such as Quinta do Lago, Dom Pedro Old Course, and Millennium. PT Golf’s golf package is based on Vila Sol, Pinheiros Altos, and Vale do Lobo, but Dom Pedro (formerly Oceânico) and Quinta do Lago can also be added.
