Our Cabanas de Tavira accommodations are located in charming and well-located blocks of houses in the Cabanas Downtown area – one of the most popular locations in the village. Here you will live just a stone’s throw from the beautiful promenade, lined with restaurants, bars and cafés, where you can sit down with a coffee in the morning sun or enjoy fresh fish for dinner as the sun sets over the lagoon.

The apartments are well suited for both longer and shorter stays. There are options with one or two bedrooms as well as apartments with private roof terraces – perfect for those who want to enjoy the Algarve weather in peace and quiet. Everything is adapted to make you feel at home, but with a holiday feeling all year round.

Cabanas has grown in recent years from being a small and quiet fishing village to becoming one of the eastern Algarve’s most genuine and popular destinations. Despite the development, the village has preserved its intimate character. Here the pace is a little slower and life still revolves around the sea and the unique nature of the Ria Formosa – the protected lagoon system that stretches along the coast and creates fantastic opportunities for boat trips, bird watching and swimming excursions.

During the winter season, the atmosphere in the village is calm and relaxing, but never deserted. Local fishermen still dock at the quay, the small shops are open and the local restaurants serve both classic Portuguese dishes and international favorites. Several of PT Golf’s popular mingle and restaurant evenings are held right here, often with music, good food and many happy reunions.

Thanks to the mild climate, the proximity to high-class golf courses and the friendly atmosphere, Cabanas is a place our guests like to return to, season after season. Here you will find the perfect balance between rest and activity, local life and social community – all in one of Portugal’s sunniest areas.

From Cabanas you are ‘close to everything’. It is just under 10 minutes by car to cozy, historic Tavira and about half an hour to Spain. The coastline from Cabanas eastwards towards the Spanish border is a long line of fantastic sandy beaches, all of which are easily reached by car via the N-125 coastal road. The A22 motorway – Via de Infante – can be easily reached via Tavira or Monte Gordo for trips along the Algarve coast and into Spain.

In Cabanas, golf really is just around the corner. The ‘home club’ Benamor – where we have daily tee times, weekly competitions and wonderful socialising on the 19th – is only 5 minutes away. The fantastic twin courses Quinta da Ría and Quinta da Cima can be reached in 10 minutes. Within half an hour you can also be at the challenging gem Quinta do Vale and the undulating scenic Castro Marim near the border. On the other side of the bridge over the Guadiana river are our Spanish courses Isla Canela Old Course, Isla Canela Links, El Rompido and more – all within an hour’s drive from Cabanas.

With us you have the market’s widest and best golf package with high-quality golf courses for all playing levels and tastes. Long and tough or shorter and more technical. Flat and walkable or hilly and breathtaking. Play on just one or a few courses, or try a new course ”every day”. The possibilities are almost endless!

Booking times for your own game is primarily done via our Guest Portal (or app), where a basic range of starting times is reserved for our guests. It is also possible to book times via email, telephone or directly on site at the courses. Registration for our competitions is always done in the Guest Portal or app. You can book up to 10 rounds – both your own game and competitions – before arrival, while the remaining rounds are booked on site according to the principle “play one, book one”. The guest portal is shared by all our guests in the area, which provides the opportunity for varied games and pleasant fellowship with both new and familiar golf friends.
