Cabanas Green – also popularly known as the ”Green House” – is located in the center of Cabanas, just three hundred meters from the pleasant and lively beach promenade. The village’s selection of restaurants and shops is within a short walking distance. Shop for fresh and locally grown produce in the small market hall. Visit the local butcher, baker and fishmonger just a couple of minutes’ walk away.

At Cabanas Green you live in fresh apartments with a homely touch, very well equipped for self-catering. The apartments have 1 bedroom or 2 bedrooms, all with 1 bathroom (note). A limited number of the apartments have a roof terrace.

The village of Cabanas has grown over the past decade – from being a quiet and peaceful fishing village with the local fishermen as the most striking feature – into one of the most genuine and emblematic places in the eastern Algarve, where visitors and tourists are happy to return again and again. Despite this, Cabanas is still a small and charming village that cherishes its history, and along the promenade on the edge of the Ria Formosa you have a large selection of nice restaurants with fresh fish, good meat dishes and a lovely atmosphere. During the season, a number of PT Golf’s mingle and restaurant evenings with good food and nice entertainment are organized here.

From Cabanas you are ’close to everything’. It is only a five-minute drive to cozy, historic Tavira and about half an hour to Spain. The coastline from Cabanas eastwards towards the Spanish border is a long line of fantastic sandy beaches, all of which are easily reached by car via the N-125 coastal road. The A22 motorway – Via de Infante – can be easily reached via Tavira or Monte Gordo for trips along the Algarve coast and into Spain.

In Cabanas, golf really is just around the corner. The ’home club’ Benamor – where we have daily tee times, weekly competitions and wonderful socialising on the 19th – is only 5 minutes away. The fantastic twin courses Quinta da Ría and Quinta da Cima can be reached in 10 minutes. Within half an hour you are also at the challenging gem Quinta do Vale and the breathtakingly beautiful Castro Marim near the border.

On the other side of the bridge over the Guadiana river are our Spanish courses Isla Canela Old Course, Isla Canela Links, El Rompido and more – all within an hour’s drive from Cabanas.

Our unique Voucher Eastern Algarve includes Quinta da Ria and Quinta da Cima. Benamor, Castro Marim, Quinta do Vale and our 8 courses in Western Spain. Please note that a free golf cart is included in this voucher on the slightly hilly Castro Marim and Quinta do Vale.

Booking times for your own game is made via email, telephone and/or visit to the courses/clubs and in the Guest Portal where pre-booked times are earmarked for PT Golf’s Guests. Registration for our competitions is made in the Guest Portal and several competitions are shared with our Guests on the Spanish side.

In the Guest Portal, 10 rounds (own game and competitions) can be booked from home, while the rest are booked on site in the Algarve according to the principle ’play one, book one’. The time booking in the Guest Portal is common to all our Guests in the Eastern Algarve, which provides variety and games together with both new and old friends.
