Quinta do Paraiso

Just a short drive (or a 15-minute walk) from the charming seaside town of Carvoeiro with its white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters lies our stunning resort, Quinta do Paraíso. Perfectly located in the heart of the Algarve, Quinta do Paraíso is a great place to stay for those seeking comfort, peace and quiet. This Moorish-inspired resort extends over 300,000 square metres of land and with its whitewashed buildings, typical Algarvian chimneys and interior design of light furniture and tiled floors, the resort creates a peaceful environment in which to relax and enjoy.

Quinta do Paraíso is home to Trattoria Oliveira where you can enjoy Mediterranean and Portuguese-inspired dishes prepared with locally grown produce. Our guests receive a discount on dinners in this cozy, friendly restaurant. Just a short drive away is Carvoeiro – a quiet and charming town. There are more restaurants, cafes and bars here where you can enjoy freshly caught fish, delicious meat dishes and locally grown vegetables and fruit. In and around Carvoeiro, many PT Golf guests gather and meet, which provides enjoyment and relaxation with new and old golf friends at our competitions, socials and dinners.

Our apartments here have recently undergone a complete and tasteful renovation. They offer a homely, modern and comfortable atmosphere. When you step through the door, you are greeted by a large and open living and dining room with a fully equipped kitchen that has direct access to the balcony or terrace. Next to the kitchen there is also a small laundry room with a washing machine, drying rack and more. The bedroom is equipped with a double bed and an en suite bathroom with a shower and the apartment has another full bathroom with a shower. There is another small room with a sofa bed and desk – perfect if you want to be alone for a while, or use it for storage. The houses at Quinta do Paraíso are on two levels and you can choose between an apartment upstairs with a small balcony with a table and two chairs and an apartment on the ground floor with a slightly larger terrace. Outside the front door, most apartments have a small table with two chairs so you have access to the patio in two directions.

Quinta do Paraíso is an old traditional Portuguese resort with tons of charm, a friendly atmosphere and lush greenery in every corner. It’s easy to feel comfortable here!

There are practically no limits to the number of exciting excursion destinations in the area. Just a few hundred meters east of the city center is Algar Seco, an impressive cave formation caused by the corrosion of the Atlantic over the millennia. A few kilometers further east, cave enthusiasts can get their fill at Praia de Benagil, which can be visited by boat from the small village of Benagil. These cave formations are considered one of the best in Europe. To the west, a visit to picturesque Ferragudo is recommended, and if you want a dose of the ’pulse of the big city’, a visit to Portimão with its wide range of restaurants and culture is recommended.

From Quinta do Paraíso, you can easily reach many of the courses in the golf package. The favourites Gramacho and Pinta are only a 5-minute drive away and the equally popular Silves is only a quarter of an hour away. The very pleasant and easy-to-walk twin courses Alamos and Morgado (where the European Tour has played) are about a 25-minute drive to the northwest.

Our unique golf package Western Algarve – Optional Golf involves playing on 15 different golf courses along the coast, from Santo António in the far west to Vila Sol in Vilamoura.

Bookings for your own game are made via email, telephone and/or visits to the courses/clubs and in the Guest Portal where pre-booked times are earmarked for PT Golf’s Guests. Registration for our competitions is made in the Guest Portal.

In the Guest Portal, 10 rounds (own game and competitions) can be booked from home, while the rest are booked on site in the Algarve according to the principle ’play one, book one’. Bookings in the Guest Portal are common to all our Guests in the Western Algarve, which provides variety and games together with both new and old friends.
