Costa de la Luz – the “Coast of Light” – is a wonderfully inviting part of the Spanish coastline, with a climate and pace similar to its Portuguese neighbor. The region’s capital, the exceptionally charming town of Ayamonte, has its Portuguese sister city, Vila Real, just a short boat ride across the mouth of the Guadiana River. Just south lies Isla Cristina, known for its famous fish market by the marina, lined with seafood restaurants.
On Costa de la Luz, you can enjoy high-quality accommodations at our locations in Islantilla, Isla Canela, and El Rompido. Islantilla is a resort located right next to the golf course of the same name, a few kilometers from the coast. In Isla Canela, we offer apartments both right by the golf course and down by the beach. A total of 9 courses.

Here you live right next to, in principle on, the border between Spain and Portugal, just a couple of minutes from the 1st tee of Isla Canela Links and just under fifteen minutes from the lovely little town of Ayamonte, with its bustling nightlife and abundant restaurant selection.
The pleasant and bright apartments have a patio or balcony with views of the beautiful landscape and/or the pool area.
El Rompido Resort
Accommodation with two championship courses outside the door.
EL Rompido’s two 18-hole courses North & South have a solid reputation among golfers from all over Europe. The pleasant town has a fine sandy beach lined with restaurants with delicious fish and meat on the menu.
The apartments are of a somewhat simpler nature but very pleasant and adapted for self-catering. Our guests have access to an indoor pool and gym and the complex also has a restaurant and a small supermarket.
Isla Canela Golf Apartments

Here you live with Isla Canela’s 5th hole as your nearest neighbor. Isla Canela Golf Apartments are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for self-catering and comfort. Close to the golf course, the beach, the pearl of Ayamonte and Portugal.
Close to many courses in the golf package, with the ’home course’ Isla Canela just a 10-minute drive away. It only takes 15 minutes to the cozy border town of Ayamonte with its abundant restaurant selection.
