Regular guest favorite Cabanas Garden is located like an oasis in the eastern part of Cabanas, just a few minutes’ walk from the pleasant and lively beach promenade. The village’s range of restaurants and shops is within a short walking distance. Shop fresh and locally grown in the small market hall. Visit the local butcher, baker and fishmonger less than 10 minutes’ walk away.

At Cabanas Garden you live in new, modern apartments fully equipped for self-catering, organized around the nice pool area as your own little ’village’. The apartments at Cabanas Garden mainly consist of 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartments – some on one level and some as duplexes with the bedroom upstairs. There is also a very limited number of apartments 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, of which a couple are of the penthouse type with a roof terrace – these are offered subject to availability.

’Across the street’ we have a few apartments (with 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms) in the new, fresh accommodation Formosa Bay. This is just a stone’s throw from the Cabanas Garden but lacks its own pool.

The village of Cabanas has grown over the last decade – from being a quiet and peaceful fishing village with the local fishermen as the most striking feature – to one of the most genuine and emblematic places in the Eastern Algarve, to which visitors and tourists return again and again . Despite this, Cabanas is still a small and charming village that cherishes its history, and along the promenade at the edge of the Ria Formosa you have a large selection of nice restaurants with fresh fish, good meat dishes and a great atmosphere. A number of PT Golf’s mingling and restaurant evenings with good food and pleasant entertainment are organized here during the season.

From Cabanas you have ’close to everything’. Cozy, historic Tavira is just a five-minute drive and Spain is about half an hour. The coastline from Cabanas east towards the Spanish border is a long chain of fantastic sandy beaches, all of which are easily accessible by car via the N-125 coastal road. The A22 motorway – Via de Infante – is easily reached via Tavira or Monte Gordo for trips along the Algarve coast and into Spain.

In Cabanas, you really have golf around the corner. To the ’home club’ Benamor – where we have daily tee times, weekly competitions and great socializing on the 19th – it’s only 5 minutes. The fantastic twin courses Quinta da Ría and Quinta da Cima can be reached in 10 minutes. Within half an hour you are also at the challenging gem of Quinta do Vale and the bellowing scenic Castro Marim near the border.

On the other side of the bridge over the border river Guadiana are our Spanish courses Isla Canela Old Course, Isla Canela Links, El Rompido and more – all within an hour’s drive from Cabanas.

Our unique Eastern Algarve Voucher includes Quinta da Ria and Quinta da Cima. Benamor, Castro Marim, Quinta do Vale and our 8 courses in Western Spain. Please note that free golf cart is included in this voucher at the slightly hilly Castro Marim and Quinta do Vale.

Time bookings for your own game are made via email, phone and/or visits to the courses/clubs as well as in the Guest Portal, where pre-booked times are earmarked for PT Golf’s Guests. Registration for our competitions is done in the Guest Portal and several competitions are shared with our Guests on the Spanish side.

In the Guest Portal, 10 rounds (own game and competitions) can be booked from home, while the rest can be booked on site in the Algarve according to the ’play one, book one’ principle. The time booking in the Guest Portal is common to all our Guests in the Eastern Algarve, which provides variety and games together with both new and old friends.
