Olhão – nice and very genuine place of Algarve!

This is something for those of you looking for a genuine and ’authentic’ Algarve stay. Olhão, home to the Algarve’s largest fishing port, is a pleasant town perfectly situated midway between Tavira to the east, and Faro and Vilamoura to the west. The city offers a rich and varied range of fish restaurants, cafes and bars and not least a very nice and popular fish market with all kinds of fish and shellfish straight from the sea.

Our accommodation is ideally located in the pleasant marina with proximity to the old districts and folk life. At Olhão Marina we have apartments with 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, completely newly renovated and fully equipped for a long stay with a full kitchen, good Wi-Fi and international TV channels. In the kitchen there is a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, stove, fridge and freezer. For our guests, there is also a special offer for the Real Marina Hotel’s SPA and well-equipped gym.

The city of Olhão offers a pleasant marine life with boat trips along the Ria Formosa with disembarkation on the islands in the nature reserve. Boat trips for bird watching and fishing can also be arranged

Our Guests in Olhão participate in our activities, gatherings and excursions organized in Tavira and Cabanas. Driving time from Olhão to Tavira is half an hour on the N-125 toll road.

As a resident of Olhao, you play on our high-class golf courses in the Eastern Algarve & Western Spain area and/or the many fine golf courses in the Vilamoura area. Driving time to Vilamoura is about 20 minutes. Contact us if you would like a special golf package!

Our unique Eastern Algarve Voucher includes Quinta da Ria and Quinta da Cima. Benamor, Castro Marim, Quinta do Vale and our 8 courses in Western Spain. Please note that free golf cart is included in this voucher at the slightly hilly Castro Marim and Quinta do Vale.

Time bookings for your own game are made via email, phone and/or visits to the courses/clubs as well as in the Guest Portal, where pre-booked times are earmarked for PT Golf’s Guests. Registration for our competitions is done in the Guest Portal and several competitions are shared with our Guests on the Spanish side.

In the Guest Portal, 10 rounds (own game and competitions) can be booked from home, while the rest can be booked on site in the Algarve according to the ’play one, book one’ principle. The time booking in the Guest Portal is common to all our Guests in the Eastern Algarve, which provides variety and games together with both new and old friends.

On arrival you will receive your vouchers for your golf package from our golf host. Welcome!
