Newly renovated and cozy accommodation in the restaurant village of Alvor!

Albur Village is perfectly located in Alvor with about 10 minutes walking distance to the small square and the two main streets. Around the square and the surrounding neighborhoods there are many cafes and restaurants that are open all year round. Here, the local population mixes with the tourists in a pleasant way.

Albur Village is a very nice little resort which was renovated in 2020 to a very high standard, interior as well as exterior. The apartments are bright and well equipped for a long stay with fast WiFi, international TV channels and a good kitchen. The area has a pool and pleasant spaces for socializing and enjoyment. Albur Village has 1 bedroom – 2 bedroom apartments as well as some new very nice Townhouse apartments with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

The town of Alvor – founded in 436 as Portus Hannibalis –  is very popular and well known as a picturesque, cozy little fishing village with a calm pace and pleasant folk life. The pace is calm and in the square the old men sit with their ”bica” and philosophize.

Down by the harbor there are many good fish restaurants where the day’s catch is prepared and served directly from the Alvor fishermen’s boats. The evening walk at sunset, or for that matter the morning jog, along the promenade is balm for the soul.

At Albur Village, PT Golf has apartments with one bedroom and one bathroom and with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The apartments are fully adapted for self-catering with a well-equipped kitchen, good internet, large living room and balcony. Please note that Albur Village is centrally located, heavy traffic may occur in the immediate area. Right next to Albur Village is Pingo Doçe, a very well-stocked grocery store where you will find most of what you need during your stay. Here there is a manual fish, meat and delicatessen counter as well as a bakery.

From Alvor mar you can easily reach our various golf courses in our golf package. The extremely popular Penina is only a 10-minute drive from the property. The very pleasant and easy-to-walk twin courses Alamos and Morgado (where the European Tour was played) are about 25 minutes’ drive away. It is half an hour’s drive to pleasant and popular Silves. Palmares GC near Lagos is of a very very high standard and has sea views on most holes as well as a fantastic view from the clubhouse.

Our unique golf package Western Algarve – Optional Golf involves playing on a total of 15 different golf courses along the coast, from Santo António in the far west to Vila Sol in Vilamoura.

So, with PT Golf you have by far the widest and best golf package on the market with a total of 15 high-class golf courses for all playing levels and tastes. From the accommodation, you can easily and quickly reach several of the courses in the golf package, and no course is more than three quarters of a mile away by car. They all have their quirks and charms, not only in terms of course layout and scorecards, but also in terms of clubhouse, restaurant and facilities. Try around and find just your/your favourites!

Time bookings for your own game are made via email, phone and/or visits to the courses/clubs as well as in the Guest Portal, where pre-booked times are earmarked for PT Golf’s Guests. Registration for our competitions is done in the Guest Portal.

In the Guest Portal, 10 rounds (own game and competitions) can be booked from home, while the rest can be booked on site in the Algarve according to the ’play one, book one’ principle. The time booking in the Guest Portal is common to all our Guests in the Western Algarve, which provides variety and games together with both new and old friends.
