Quinta do Algarve is a brand new luxury residence completed in the summer of 2019. The property is beautifully situated on the hillside above Carvoeiro village, with a bright and sunny resort feel around the winter heated (26 degrees) salt water pool. In short, this is absolutely top-class accommodation.

At Quinta do Algarve you live in bright, well laid out, spacious townhouse apartments with modern, tasteful furnishings and beautiful decoration on two levels (there is also a very limited number of single level apartments with 1 or 2 bedrooms). On the ground floor, you have a very well-equipped open kitchen with dining area, large living room, toilet and private patio facing the pool area. Upstairs there are two bright, spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, one with shower/bath and one with shower.

The state-of-the-art high-efficiency air conditioning means that you quickly have the ideal temperature in the apartment, and the underfloor heating in the bathrooms is wonderfully beneficial for the feet after a day on the golf course. Of course, there is good wi-fi and a large modern flat-screen TV with international channels. Cleaning takes place every 7 days, including changes of bed linen and towels/bath towels.

Quinta do Algarve’s resort area is fenced, has a reception and you park directly adjacent to your townhouse where a practical small storage room for the golf equipment is located in the own parking lot.

Beautifully situated on the cliffs of the Atlantic Ocean, Carvoeiro is a fantastic destination for visitors who want a quiet and relaxed holiday in a characterful and charming town. The calm atmosphere embraces with its many pleasant small restaurants, cafes and bars where freshly caught fish, good meat dishes and locally grown vegetables and fruit are offered. In and around Carvoeiro, many PT Golf guests gather and meet, which provides enjoyment and relaxation with new and old golf friends at our competitions, mingling and dinners. From the accommodation, it is just over 2 km down to Carvoeiro’s characteristic and beautiful sandy beach and the small town’s cozy center with its restaurants, cafes and small shops.

There are, in principle, an unlimited number of exciting excursion destinations in the local area. Just a few hundred meters east of the city center and beach is the Algar Seco, an impressive cave formation caused by the corrosion of the Atlantic over the millennia. A few more kilometers to the west, those interested in caves will find their fill at Praia de Benagil, which can be visited by boat from the small village of Benagil. These cave formations are considered one of Europe’s foremost. To the west, a visit to picturesque Ferragudo is recommended, and if you want a dose of the ’pulse of the big city’, a visit to Portimão with its wide range of restaurants and culture is recommended.

From Quinta do Algarve you can easily reach many of the courses in the golf package. The favorites Gramacho and Pinta are only a 5-minute drive away, and the equally popular Silves is only a quarter of an hour away. The very nice and easy-to-walk twin tracks Alamos and Morgado (where the European Tour was played) are about 25 minutes’ drive to the northwest.

Our unique West Algarve – Optional Golf package includes 15 different golf courses along the coast, from Santo António in the far west to Vila Sol in Vilamoura.

So, with PT Golf you have by far the widest and best golf package on the market with a total of 15 high-class golf courses for all playing levels and tastes. Long and tough or shorter and more technical. Flat and walkable or hilly and breathtaking. Play on just one or a few courses, or try a new course ”every day”. The possibilities are almost endless!

Time bookings for your own game are made via email, phone and/or visits to the courses/clubs as well as in the Guest Portal, where pre-booked times are earmarked for PT Golf’s Guests. Registration for our competitions is done in the Guest Portal.

In the Guest Portal, 10 rounds (own game and competitions) can be booked from home, while the rest can be booked on site in the Algarve according to the ’play one, book one’ principle. The time booking in the Guest Portal is common to all our Guests in the Western Algarve, which provides variety and games together with both new and old friends.
