Vila das Lagoas is a stone’s throw from Salgado’s popular and easy-to-walk golf course, and you can walk to the clubhouse in just a few minutes. The several kilometer long sandy beach Praia dos Salgados is only about 500 meters away.

Here you live in our bright, modern and spacious self-catering apartments with well-equipped kitchens, generous balconies and large windows. The property is nestled in a lush area with beautiful gardens and green areas with olive and palm trees. The apartments have 2 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms and are designed with modern and comfortable furnishings to meet high quality standards. Of course, all apartments are equipped with good wi-fi and flat-screen TVs with international TV channels.

The area around Salgados has a lot to offer in the way of excursions. ZooMarine with its breathtaking dolphin show is worth a visit, and don’t miss the world-famous sand sculpture exhibition in Pera. For the historically interested, the Capela dos Ossos in Alcantarilha, with its interior of human bones and skulls, is a very interesting visit. Added to this are the extensive sandy beaches and boat trips for dolphin spotting – if you’re lucky, you can even see killer whales on their journey between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean.

Visit and stroll around the old districts of Albufeira (approx. 20 minutes’ drive) which are charming with their small streets and snack bars to restaurants, cafes and bars. To the west is picturesque Armação de Pêra (approx. 10 min) with its quiet atmosphere and pleasant folk life. The fish of the day – Catch of the Day – is found almost everywhere and almost always offers a breathtaking gourmet experience.

Our Guests at Vilas das Lagoas have free access to the area’s outdoor pools and for a fee to the SPA department with jacuzzi, sauna and steam bath. Tennis courts are also available. The nearby NAU hotel has two restaurants and in the immediate area there are several traditional Portuguese restaurants with the well-known Museu dos Salgados restaurant as the flagship – not to be missed! There is a small supermarket in the immediate area and the outlet shopping center Algarve Shopping is about 15 minutes’ drive from the property.

From Vila das Lagoas you can easily reach several of the courses in the golf package. Salgado’s 1st tee is a 5-minute walk from the apartment.

Our unique West Algarve – Optional Golf package includes 15 different golf courses along the coast, from Santo António in the far west to Vila Sol in Vilamoura.

So, with PT Golf you have by far the market’s broadest and best golf package with a total of 15 high-class golf courses for all playing levels and tastes. From the accommodation, you can easily and quickly reach several of the courses in the golf package, and no course is more than three quarters of a mile away by car. They all have their quirks and charms, not only in terms of course layout and scorecards, but also in terms of clubhouse, restaurant and facilities. try around and find just your/your favourites!

Time bookings for your own game are made via email, phone and/or visits to the courses/clubs as well as in the Guest Portal, where pre-booked times are earmarked for PT Golf’s Guests. Registration for our competitions is done in the Guest Portal.

In the Guest Portal, 10 rounds (own game and competitions) can be booked from home, while the rest can be booked on site in the Algarve according to the ’play one, book one’ principle. The time booking in the Guest Portal is common to all our Guests in the Western Algarve, which provides variety and games together with both new and old friends.
