These months provide a unique combination of pleasant weather with mild temperatures and sunny days—perfect for a winter golf getaway. The courses are also quieter, allowing you to enjoy your game at your own pace, without stress.
Roquetas de Mar Residences, as the accommodation is called, is a modern apartment hotel fantastically located next to our home club Playa Serena. The accommodation has fully equipped apartments with one or two bedrooms. The apartments are bright and nice and have a balcony with a lovely view over the golf course or towards the sea. The kitchens are modern and equipped with a 4-plate stove, oven and microwave.
The distance to the beach and the beginning of the promenade is only a short walk of 400m. Further up the promenade, which is several kilometers long, you will find tapas bars, restaurants etc. Near the golf course and our accommodation there are several restaurants and shops and also bicycle rental. An excellent Sparbutik is a quarter of an hour’s walk away.
In the old part of town, a short distance away (by car), there are many tapas bars, fish restaurants, cafes and shops. There is also a large shopping center with various shops and a large and well-stocked supermarket (Carrefour). Right next door there is a market every Thursday. The town also has a fishing port. Fishing is done here, among other things. a. squid, bonito and lobster which you can order at the local restaurants.

Also, don’t miss a visit to the larger city of Almería, which we recommend as an excursion destination.
We book your rental car for collection and return at Málaga airport. The drive to Roquetas de Mar Residences takes about 2 hours on the fine highway to the east.
Our unique golf package Almería provides optional play on four golf courses of varying character, length and feel along this beautiful part of Spain. You live next to our home club Playa Serena and the other nearby golf courses (Almerimar & La Envia) are about 15-20 minutes drive.
Time bookings for your own game are made via email, telephone and/or visits to the courses/clubs as well as in the Guest Portal, where pre-booked times are earmarked for PT Golf’s Guests, which provides variety and games together with both new and old friends. Competition registration is done in the Guest Portal, where you can pre-book up to 10 rounds (your own game and competitions) from home, while the rest are booked on site according to the ’play one, book one’ principle.
Upon arrival, you will receive all information regarding the golf game from our on-site golf host. Welcome!
