Our affordable accommodation Senator Resort apartment hotel in Murcia offers simpler one and two bedroom apartments, perfect for a relaxed stay with a focus on golf. Our apartments are equipped with stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.
The property is located next to the Hotel Senator and the nearby La Serena golf course. Just 3 km away is the genuine seaside village of Los Alcazares, which offers all the comfort and culture you need. It is the oldest settlement on the Mar Menor and has characterized this part of Spain for over eight hundred years. In addition to its rich history, Los Alcázares offers a delicious local gastronomy where fish and shellfish, such as sea bream, mullet and Mar Menor shrimp, are the focus. There are also many cozy tapas bars and cafes along the promenade.
Los Alcázares boasts nearly seven kilometers of beach and an average annual temperature of 18ºC. The region of Murcia is one of the driest places in Europe with only 300mm of rainfall per year, creating a perfect winter climate for golf lovers from the northern parts of Europe.
In addition to playing at La Serena, you have the opportunity to explore six more fine golf courses within a 30-minute drive.

We book your rental car for collection and return at Alicante airport. The drive to the Mar Menor Resort takes about 1 hour south down towards the village of Los Alcazares and then towards the La Serena golf course.
Our unique golf package ”Murcia” offers optional play on seven golf courses of varying character, length and feel. The Jack Nicklaus Golf Trail is a unique golf experience consisting of six Nicklaus Design Golf Courses of the highest quality and design. The courses Mar Menor, La Torre, Saurines de la Torre, Riquelme, El Valle and Alhama make the region of Murcia one of the most important golf destinations in Europe, a ”European Arizona”. Four of these are included in our track package!
Time bookings for your own game are made via email, telephone and/or visits to the courses/clubs as well as in the Guest Portal, where pre-booked times are earmarked for PT Golf’s Guests, which provides variety and games together with both new and old friends.
Competition registration is done in the Guest Portal, where you can pre-book up to 10 rounds (your own game and competitions) from home, while the rest are booked on site according to the ’play one, book one’ principle.
On arrival, you will receive your vouchers for your golf package from our golf host on site. Welcome!
