PT Golf is pleased to announce that Aquamar accommodation is back in our program after a long wait for the completion of their upgrade work.
At Aquamar, you live a stone’s throw from the impressive marina in Vilamoura, where restaurants, pubs, bars and cafes are close to the impressive parade of exclusive yachts and smaller ships.
The pleasant marina promenade right outside the door passes among all the well-known famous restaurants and here is also the Swedish-owned top restaurant Aquavit, well worth a visit.
At Aquamar, most apartments have two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a limited number of apartments are also available with one bedroom. All apartments are fully equipped for a long stay with a large living room, fully equipped kitchen, good WiFi and international TV channels. The facility has a nice pool area with sunbeds, a nice place to socialize with other PT Golf guests.
In Vilamoura there is ’everything’. An innumerable number of restaurants, shopping for all tastes, casino, parks, a rich cultural offering and direct access to the sandy beaches, all within walking distance of Aquamar. The walk on the new road through the marina now goes directly to the nearby small town of Quarteira where the fish market is open daily with an abundant selection of all that the Atlantic Ocean has to offer in terms of fish and shellfish. Sea fishing trips depart from Vilamoura Marina throughout the year as well as smaller cruises along the coast.
From Vilamoura, you are quickly on the Via de Infante (A22) motorway for excursions along the Algarve coast. The distance to Faro airport is only 24 km.
PT Golf has various golf packages and combinations in the Central Algarve mainly based around the highly rated Don Pedro courses Old Course, Millenium, Pinhal & Laguna (Victoria is closed for refurbishment throughout 2024). Golf packages also include Pestana’s Vila Sol course in Vilamoura and games on Pestana’s other five different courses in the western Algarve.
PT Golf also has golf packages of five rounds to Quinta Do Lago, Dom Pedro and Pinheiros Altos, Vale Do Lobo.
Time booking for your own game is done via our Guest Portal, where pre-booked times are earmarked for PT Golf’s Guests. Or by email, phone, personal visit to the courses/clubs. Our competitions in the area are usually played at Vila Solbanan in Vilamoura and competition registration is done in the Guest Portal.
In the Guest Portal, 10 rounds (own game and competitions) can be booked from home, while the rest can be booked on site in the Algarve according to the ’play one, book one’ principle. The time booking in the Guest Portal is common to all our Guests in the Central Algarve, which provides variety and games together with both new and old friends.
On arrival, you will receive your vouchers for your golf package from our golf host on site. Welcome!

For an upgrade to an apartment with a pool, marina and/or sea view – so-called Prime apartment – €100 per person is added to the above prices for an apartment with 1 or 2 bedrooms respectively.
Please note that for play on Dom Pedro’s courses in Vilamoura the following applies: PT Golf’s guests receive their 5 pre-booked golf rounds/start times with dates and times within a 10-day period. Rebooking to another track is not possible. If the guest does not come to play according to the pre-booked start times, a so-called no show is issued and the round is lost. If the course is unplayable due to rain, a rain voucher is received.
