Lakeside Country Club is a spectacular property in the well-known area of Quinta do Lago, just east of Vilamoura. Lakeside is – as the name suggests – beautifully located right next to the small lake Lago with a couple of cozy restaurants/bars. Furthermore, it is a nice half-hour walk down to the Atlantic Ocean and the mile-long Praia de Quinta do Lago.
At Lakeside we have apartments with 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom or 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All apartments are modern, bright and of the highest quality in every detail. Large living room, fully equipped kitchen, good Wi-Fi and spacious balcony with table and chairs. In the area there is a large heated indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna and a small gym available to our guests at no extra cost. There is also a tennis court and a ping-pong room for those who wish to supplement with ball games outside the golf course.
The nearest shopping center with a grocery store and other shops is ”Quinta Shopping”, which is only a 5-minute drive from the property. The fashionable coastal town of Vilamoura can be reached in about 20 minutes with everything you can think of in terms of shopping, restaurants, cafes, bars and cultural offerings. Between Quinta do Lago and Vilamoura we have the charming village of Quarteira (20 min) with a lovely folk life and many cozy taverns for a relaxing and delicious lunch or dinner.
We have a range of golf packages and combinations in the Central Algarve based mainly on the highly rated courses Vila Sol in Vilamoura (drive time approx. 20 min) and Pinheiros Altos in Quinta do Lago (10 min). In addition to these courses, you can buy or upgrade to rounds (always in packs of five) at Quinta do Lago (Laranjal, North & South) and Dom Pedro (Old Course, Millenium, Pinhal & Laguna*) at good prices. All courses are within a 20 minute drive from Lakeside.
Time booking for your own game at is done via email, phone and/or visit to the courses/clubs and, in the case of Vila Sol and Pestana, also in the Guest Portal where pre-booked times are earmarked for PT Golf’s Guests. Our competitions in the area are played at Vila Sol in Vilamoura and registration to the competition is done in the Guest Portal. In the Guest Portal, 10 rounds (own game and competitions) can be booked from home, while the rest can be booked on site in the Algarve according to the ’play one, book one’ principle. The time booking in the Guest Portal is common to all our Guests in the Central Algarve, which provides variety and games together with both new and old friends.

The golf competitions in the Central Algarve are played at Vila Sol and Pinheiros Altos. In the Guest Portal, there are start times for Vila Sol and Pinheiros Altos, for other courses in the Central Algarve, pre-booked times (”clip cards”) apply.
Exchange of 5 rounds of Vila Sol for 5 Pinheiros Altos (or vice versa) can be done free of charge. Exchange of 5 rounds of Vila Sol or Pinheiros Altos for 5 rounds of Dom Pedro Laguna, Pinhal, Millennium costs €165. If you want a golf package with Dom Pedro Victoria and The Old Course or Vale do Lobo, contact us for a quote.
