The Residences Islantilla Apartments, in short Islantilla, is a modern and very pleasant resort with bright, nice apartments, fully equipped for self-catering. The apartments are three-room apartments with a large living room, 2 nice bedrooms and 1 large bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and the apartment also has a balcony. The apartments are equipped with comfortable beds with organic mattresses. All apartments also have a safety box.

This popular resort is very pleasant with two nice restaurants and the popular bar ”The Blue Bar”. Our Guests have free access to the hotel’s SPA area with heated indoor pool, jacuzzi & gym – everything for perfect relaxation after today’s round of golf. The facility’s outdoor pool, on the other hand, cannot be counted on during the winter months of November to March.

The hotel is a stone’s throw from Islantilla Golf, which with its 27 holes offers great variety. It is only a couple of minutes to the small center of the village of Islantilla, and down to La Antilla – where there are several nice restaurants and cafes along the fine sandy beach – you walk in 15-20 minutes (1.7 km).

Islantilla is very close to the beautiful and ecologically interesting nature reserve Doñana – one of Europe’s most important places for migratory birds between Europe and Africa – which is definitely worth a visit. The cultural city of Seville – with its fantastic cityscape, its flamenco and an innumerable number of tapas restaurants that are considered the best in the world – is about 1½ hours east on a good road (13 miles).

It only takes 25 minutes to reach the convivial border town of Ayamonte with its bustling folk life and abundant restaurant selection. From there you can take the ferry – until 1992 when the A22 bridge was built the only way – across to Portugal and the sister city of Vila Real do Santo António. By car, it only takes a quarter of an hour to Castro Marim and about 20 minutes to Tavira in Portugal.

A nice lunch excursion after golf is suggested to the various restaurants down in the small coastal town of Islantilla, where you eat your lunch almost down by the beach. Also Islantilla Golf’s clubhouse and golf hotel both have nice restaurants, approx. 400 meters from the accommodation. Also, don’t miss visiting Isla Cristina (8 km) with an interesting fish auction and many good fish restaurants.

Our unique golf package West Spain – Mixed Golf involves playing ten different golf courses along the Costa de la Luz and into Portugal, of varying character, length and feel. The ’home track’ Islantilla is only a few hundred meters away and the other tracks are all within half an hour’s drive on good roads. For games also on our other 5 courses in the Eastern Algarve, vouchers can be exchanged (at an additional cost) or purchased from your Golf host!

Time bookings for your own game are made via email, phone and/or visits to the courses/clubs as well as in the Guest Portal, where pre-booked times are earmarked for PT Golf’s Guests. Registration for competitions is done in the Guest Portal and several competitions are shared with our Guests on the Portuguese side. In the Guest Portal, 10 rounds (own game and competitions) can be booked from home, while the rest can be booked on site in the Algarve according to the ’play one, book one’ principle. The time booking in the Guest Portal is common to all our Guests on the Costa de la Luz, which provides variety and games together with both new and old friends.
